Reality spoils fiction US veteran who killed unarmed Iraqis wins Tea Party support. Spoilers for the movie RED inside.[More:]

So I watched the movie RED at the weekend, pretty good action comedy starring Bruce Willis as a retired CIA agent.

But the first link kind of ruins the plot for me. The plot concerns a US politician who orders Bruce Willis executed in case he reveals the politician's part in a massacre of civilians. In real life, it seems a history of killing unarmed civilians is an electoral bonus.
I realized long ago that spy fiction was the worst kind of fantasy. A real life James Bond with a License to Kill? If one existed, he probably killed JFK and framed Oswald.
