Censorship at its Finest: Remembering. Risha Mullins on her experiences with starting a book club in the Montgomery County public school system. (Mirror) →[More:] Author's commentary on the original post's removal, and one discussion thread.
Want to know why we have so many shitty public school systems in the US? Because (in part) they're run by a bunch of pantywaist cowards allowing themselves to be bullied by know-nothing hypocrites and scolds.
Ah, Montgomery County Public Schools. The sick fucks who refused to let me have a study period in the library when I'd completed my requirements early and didn't have enough open for me to fill my 7 class schedule and so stuck me in the guidance office as a secretary they didn't have to pay. (Although, I will say that learning how to answer phones properly and navigate office politics at that age was a fucking boon for later in life.)
