So far, it's been a pretty good day, which started with me "buying" a copy of the Wil Wheaton/John Scalzi fanfic chapbook, all proceeds of which are going to benefit the Lupus Alliance of America through Gretchen Schafer, who I think is the publisher's wife. I think that from now on, every birthday will start with me sending a donation to a charity somewhere in the world.
Tonight, my boyfriend and I are going to take this $300 Visa gift card I got from my boss and her two associates to a fancy French restaurant called Raoul's in Soho. I'm excited because I haven't had fancy French food in a while and my boyfriend never has, so it'll be fun for both of us.
Not sure what I'll do with the remainder of the money, if there will be some.
