Matador Records is turning 21 and the box set they're releasing at the end of the month looks incredible.

That is an impressive roster of acts. You could load that up and listen to it for days on end.

Upon reflection, it really would be a better gift for me. I think I'm just going to buy it for myself and mr. gaspode can listen. If it were a few years ago and the last Dischord boxed set however...

I always forget that Boards of Canada were on Matador in the U.S.

Aw man... we don't have anything capable of playing physical format either... well maybe the mister's car. I'm so tempted. It would mean I'd just end up ripping them and storing the box somewhere tho. hmm
