Tomorrow morning Specklet and TheDonF leave England to start their new life in the United States. They are two of the dearest, sweetest people I know, and I will miss them so much.

But I am also excited for them, and all the fantastic things that lie ahead for them.

Hey hey!

Sorry we didn't chime in on this thread earlier, we were in the final throes of packing and then moving. So, yes, we made it and are now in Washington DC, where the weather is rather nice; certainly better than the dreary conditions that were in the UK when we left. I'm not quite sure why I'm awake after only about six hours' sleep when I was awake for the previous 23 hours, but there you go. It'll probably catch up with me tomorrow.

Now please excuse me as I need to go and practice saying words and phrases differently. First up: "rest room", beta, and router.
