Chopin's Small Miracles: despite their brevity, the Preludes loom large musically
Thanks for the link, NucleophilicAttack. I've loved the Preludes since I first heard them about fifteen years ago: for me they served as a potent 'gateway drug' to a broader appreciation of classical music.

You might enjoy this programme talking about and demonstrating some of the preludes, from BBC Radio 3. Hopefully it's not region-blocked.

The preludes never stood out to me among Chopins work. So thanks for this article that gave them some separate attention.
