Jean Teasdale has discovered Twitter ... and I don't know how long she'll keep twittering. In a weird way I hope she doesn't do it forever, because it's almost too much, like having Christmas every day. It's especially kind of freaky how she interacts with others, like she's real.

Not ironically, not to laugh at. . . I really wish she were my neighbor. I think I need more uncynical people in my life or something.

You could do worse than to have Jean as your neighbour. I think it would depend on how needy and clingy she is in person and how much time you wound up spending around her.
