This doesn't surprise me in any way. Assange seems to have an air of both the "I will tell you what you need to think!" and the attention seeking about him. I kind of wish it did surprise me, but as much as I appreciate what he's trying to do, every profile I've read of him makes him seem a bit of an attention whore.

I agree - there's an incredible grandiosity in him that hints at mental illness (in my non-professional opinion). But sure, glad someone's doing what he's doing.

*nods* I do have worries about the leaks putting people in danger, but I absolutely agree with the premise of what he's trying to accomplish - that is, giving the general public information about what is actually happening. If it takes an attention whore do to do that... eh, so be it. We're not all saints.
