Do you like to get terrible postcards in the mail? [More:]Of course you do. Everyone does.

While cleaning out my father's office, I found a crapload of postcards (all terrible) and several hundred dollars worth of postage. Therefore....I'd like to send you a postcard. Email me with your name, online name and address and I'll send you an actual postcard in the actual mail. Eventually. Want more than one postcard? Send me one back.
Ooh ooh I want a postcard from ColdChef!

Can you be more specific about "terrible", please?

oooh, Boulder is such a touristy town, I bet I could find you a truly terrible postcard in return! I'm assuming stuff like chainsaw art and bears sitting in outhouses qualifies, right?

:)

I've seen some of these postcards, and they are in fact awesomely terrible.

Near and dear to my heart, they are.

"Terrible" My dad would buy postcards wherever he travelled, but he wasn't a good judge of what made a good card. So he'd usually grab one of each off of the rack, or more often, ten of each. So I have lots and lots of dull, uninteresting...dare I say?... Boring postcards. I've only gotten ten requests so far. Surely more of you like meaningless crap delivered to you?

This is an opportunity of a lifetime, but I'm not sure if either my office or my husband would see it that way. I'm torn! Are you able to do special handling requests like not using screen names?

Screennames will not be used on the cards. I just want to know who I'm sending them to.

Extra pickles, extra lettuce/Special orders don't upset us!

Make sure your return address is legible and you will receive in return ONE (1) postcard from one of the Central Coast's odd landmarks, which may include Hearst Castle, Morro Rock, the Madonna Inn, Bubblegum Alley or the Pismo Beach Giant Clam (sculpture). Feel free to express a preference but I can not guarantee specific content. Silly landmarks make silly postcards.

Whoa! I stepped away for a moment, and when I got back...THIRTY requests! Yay!.

I've got plenty of cards and postage. Now I just need to figure out what I'm going to write on each of them.

Quick: someone give me a topic that I can write one or two sentences about on the back of a random postcard!

Number them...and put one sentence on each one. THEN WE CAN ALL GET TOGETHER AFTERWARD AND COMBINE IT INTO ONE STORY.

OMG.

(or not)
