SUPERawesome. I grew up with the Eloise book and really love it still. What fun - it looks spot on. Even has Skipperdee and Weenie!

I hope the suite doesn't come with mandatory scary Betsey Johnson, though. Eek! Rubber chocolates for her.

The famous Eloise painting is part of the room - I hope it's a print and that the original is still visit-able in the lobby; because, not being a hyperrich indulged seven-year-old girl, I probably will not be staying in that suite myself.

I think this has to be lost on you, though, unless you read the books as a kid. If I were just looking at it cold I'd be repelled, too. But it's a fictional fantasy come to life, and it's cool to see it realized.

I never thought I would say this . . . but it is too pink for me.

There should be a TPS suite at the Plaza. That would be really outstanding!

Yay, Eloise! But yeah, Betsey Johnson creeps me out.

You can achieve a similar effect in your own bedroom using nothing more than one quart each of gin and pepto bismol.

Somehow I missed these books, but I thought it wasn't too bad until I saw the neon Eloise above the bed. Just in case the rest of the room was too subtle, and you weren't really getting the whole "Eloise" vibe, I guess.
