Woman targets Target for supporting anti-gay political candidate Not sure what I think of the efficacy of this protest method, but we could use more of this woman's kind of voice and action.
Oh Target, how could you? After all the love we've shared.

Yeah, my dad's the go-to guy for letting us know which companies have gone Evil. We were all sad when he passed this on.

Target is plenty conflicted. Their HR policies are very gay-friendly, yet they support this guy. If I worked for Target, I would have a big problem. Since I don't shop there much, I do not have too much of a conflict.

I really admire that woman's spirit.

And yeah, I'm super-bummed about this news.

I wish I didn't know this.

This is why I always just assume every big company is evil and only try to frequent the places that seem the least evil. But it keeps getting harder and harder.

If gays and lesbians quit patronizing Target, that would take a huge chunk out of their bottom line.

Damn, we were just talking about voting with our wallets. I had mused that if we ever find out that Trader Joe's is evil, we would starve to death, because we cannot afford to shop exclusively at our local co-op (it's so expensive!). I LOVE Target, and I am so unhappy to hear this, because they had been my go-to store for bulk items like toilet paper and laundry detergent. Fucking Target. Now I can't shop their, EITHER. Stupid Target.

I'm still mad at Target about emergency contraception.

I almost always make a shopping stop at Target when I visit my mum in Washington. I wish I didn't know this either.

As a marginal consumer, my vote barely counts. For instance, I've never been to a Target.

Me too - basically, independent businesses first, but small/regional chains before nationals, etc. With groceries, it's hard, because yeah the local stores have a price premium.
