I hope this isn't inappropriate to post here, but I'm looking for a decent graphic designer that would be interested in coming up with an excellent logo for my company. I'm obviously willing to pay proper money for this, but if there's a friend's discount going I won't look a gift horse in the mouth ;)

I don't particularly want to get into the brief at this point, beyond saying it'd need to suit a tech-oriented design consultancy -- but more real-world than digital tech, if you follow.

I won't be in a position to issue a full brief for a couple of weeks, yet, so there's a bit of time to have all the right discussions to make sure everyone's happy. With the right designer, I'm happy to be completely hands-off and leave you alone, but will obviously answer questions or express preferences if prodded appropriately.

If anyone's interested can they pop their contact details here or send an email to nthdegx@gmail.com? Ideally I'd be looking to see examples of work if at all possible, and then entering into a dialogue with someone whose work I dig -- I don't want to waste anybody's time.

There's possible follow-up work in the way of web-type stuff, but don't worry if you're an out-out graphics bod... that's perfect at this stage.

Thought I'd throw this upen to the mecha community first...
