I like Macho Broccoli because it says internet geek without being "that guy" wearing a band t-shirt when going to see a band. But what it really boils down to is which is the softest? That's how I picked my dinosaur shirt this morning.

Does the fine print say "RAWR Means I love you in Dinosaur"? If so, I might have to get that for Mrs. light thief.

If it would ease your anxiety, you can bring all three, and a) stand up at the random moment, take off your outer-most shirt and proclaim "Ta-da!", 2) you could leave the area for a moment, go around the corner, and we can say emphatically "Thank God you're here! (or you could pull a Takei and beat us to the punch - his was one of the best clips in that short-lived show, but I digress), or X) you could dress in a suit and pretend to be a traveling t-shirt salesman, with only 3 shirts to show off, none of which are for sale.

And now I realize I've given you more options to ponder, instead of fewer. Damn.

It was a Woot shirt, mentined on MeCha previously and three of five bunnies agreed, they looked spooky.

Has anyone let occhiblu and ikkyu2 know? I don't know if they active on MeFi, but they might like to know it is happening.

occhiblu is disabled on MeFi, as is ikkyu2. Are they local to this area? It would be nice to meet more bunnies.

The last time I was in contact with ikkyu2, he was working as a neurologist at French Hospital in SLO and they were living in Santa Maria, but that was 2 years ago and I can't find his real name or contact info in my filingpiling system. I may have a second-hand contact possibility - stand by.

And apparently nobody else bought the bunny shirt because it placed last in the first 'reckoning' after its introduction. I have other geeky and/or obscure shirts (why have any other kind?), including a hip-hop munchkin (the Lollypop League REPRESENTS), "HOW'S MY BLOGGING? Call 1-888-STFU", an Overclocked Lemon, "LOL RIGHTS RESERVED", an orange "Clobberin' Time" and a semi-political shirt in which a moose is shown as half-way between a Republican elephant and Democratic donkey (a message I consider spoiled by moose-hunter Palin). Sadly, my "Mr. Spork" shirt was torn and ruined.

I have just tested out layering shirts and I may be able to wear up to 4 without smothering myself or looking like the Michelin Man. I'll also be packing an Eee Netbook in a case big enough for a much larger laptop, so I'll be able to bring more shirts in there, along with a Carrot Top show of props.

Beware, I will make this an event (and I will have camera).

Ikkyu2 and I are in the area, but Saturday is my birthday and we have houseguests this weekend, so probably no meet-up for us. I would be interested in meeting other Mecha folks in the area, though, so maybe a bunny meet-up at some point?

Anytime, anyplace. I totally do not have a life, but I also totally do not have a car and will pay for excessive amounts of fuel to anyone providing me a ride. I may even organize a meetup in a couple months in my empty parking space. Keep an eye on MeFi's new IRL page; it's a valuable resource (I might have missed this meetup without it).
