See this article? about how having a big head (thus a big brain, presumably) is protective against the effects of brain atrophy? I indexed this paper today. Was excitedly telling my friends about it, and they were all like "yeah, it was all over the news". Anyway, in case you missed it, here it is.

Woo! My noggin is so large that I have to unbuckle the straps on the back of most baseball caps and let them hang loose to fit the darn things on my head.

Females in my family have very large heads, can't get hats to fit, and mostly live to be 90 or so with no history of Alzheimer's. So there's one datapoint, anyway.

Also, how cool that your work involves interesting stuff like this! (mine does too, but it's mostly more obscure)

I have a teeeny-tiny head. It's not just that I am petite in general, with the small hands, small feet and all that, I literally wear children's hats because they never make adult hats size 52/54 any more (that's 6 5/8's). Hats made for ten-year olds are this size.

My grandmother (also small head - not as small as mine) is in her eighties, and her mind is clearly going.

I have a mega-giant head, you could set it on fire and load it into a catapult and breach fortress walls with it. Also it's filled with napalm and nails, so look out below.
