I'm not, and as with PAX East and Anime Expo, I will have to suffer the Twitter updates and yearing for the day when I will be able to get to go again.

I think AX is too big for it's britches, or at least it was a few years back. If you're looking for a good anime/manga con, you would do well to look elsewhere, unless management changed for the better. Too many people for the resources available. Fanime, up in the San Jose area, was big but you could still approach artists, directors and producers. My friend and I got to "chat" with Hiroyuki Yamaga at a Fanime signing, where there were less than 20 people present. Again, it's been years, so things may have changed all around. /old fanboy
