I think I have an ear infection, but I don't remember what one feels like since I haven't had one since I was a child. I also think my boss is peeved at me, but didn't say anything at work today.

dude one left click on my mouse is 70% of the time being interpreted as two clicks
it's insane
I try to select a bunch of files but as soon as I try to grab the selection they deselect
I try to rename a file and again, it deselects the editable text field
I try to make a selection in photoshop and the selection disappears
I try to upload files but the transferring problem interpreting the double click opens them instead
Gmail is accidentally sending actual emails to the spam coz of accidental click
Plus we're under deadlines for different projects
I just realized that I need to go out and invest in another mouse

I have been cyberslacking almost the entire day mainly because I did a furious burst of work this morning and now am waiting for my boss to get out of Important Meetings to sign Important Papers. Also because it's the day after a long holiday weekend, compounded by me taking some vacation time, and my desk is a Disastrous Pit of FAIL and GRAR.

Not to mention that the Big Project I need to work on requires me getting input from Obnoxious Colleague, who is unpleasant to deal with, so I'm procrastinating.

Thankfully I have a couple days to "gather requirements" prior to submitting a draft for review :P

Plus it's about to thunderstorm and I didn't bring a rain shell, and forgot to put the mudgards on my bike before I left this morning.

My godforsaken printer ate several envelopes, and now refuses to print colour barcode labels, which it happily did last week (beta testing for Big Project).

and last but not least my work spouse inadvertently spoiled BOTH the Tour de France AND World Cup results to me, in an unrelated bitch session earlier today, in which we mainly snarked about Obnoxious Colleague and the futility of Big Project, and got nothing of substance accomplished aside from eating an entire box of fig bars.

I hate Tuesdays.

I think that I broke my left little toe this weekend or at least sprained it pretty bad. Embarrassingly, I did it putting my pants on. Got my foot stuck in the leg and fell over slamming my whole 240#s into my little toe which made a wonderful cracking noise. Been limping around ever since.

kyleg mine was doing that until I worked out that the actual battery underneath had warped so much it was killing the touchpad. Removed the battery - everything back to normal.

You might wanna check that as crazy as it sounds.
