Does anyone remember the ImagiNation Network? INN was an early casual gaming service in the 90s. I just learned that INN is available again, thanks to a hack called INNRevival.
The easiest way to set up INNRevival seems to be this installer for Windows. It looks like it could work on Mac and Linux too.

Of course, my ulterior motive for posting this here is that there's not much activity on it.

I definitely remember INN. It's what led me to my first MMORPG (or graphical MUD as they called it back then) ... The Shadow of Yserbius.

I had to stop, though, as I think I racked up a $500 bill in one month. Ah, the good old days.

What did the monthly fee include, like 10 hours I think? I never went over that. But my parents canceled it when I got a B on my report card.

WolfDaddy, you'll be happy to know that Yserbius seems to be the one part of INNRevival with any activity at all. In the day, I mainly just played the board games.

I kinda vaguely remember that, I was a poor young adult in the early nineties and couldn't afford an online service.

INNRevival sounds like a cool idea but it doesn't look very stable, the server's been down since Sunday.

Where are you seeing that? I was just playing it last night, when I posted this.

Sorry, read the posting wrong. Server was down last Sunday.
