At my bar, I just saw a three year old sing "Don't Stop Believin'" in Her mother's arms. It was cool.
OK, the chorus. Mom knew the whole song though. Thay also seemed to enjoy "The Devil Went Down To Georgia," the little one danced with her hands to the fiddle parts, anyway.
Of course! Sophie was just complaining that I got The Monks' "Love in Stereo" stuck in her head again. Evelyn has been known to drive Sophie nuts by repeating the chorus of The Band's "Rag Mama Rag" FOREVER.
Of course, the first song Sophie ever sang was "Folsom Prison Blues" back when she was barely able to speak.
Also, I just gave Sophie Rock Band 2 for her 9th birthday (for the wii) and I've heard Eye of the Tiger about 35 times in the last 2 days. I tried to get her to do the Social Distortion song, but she claimed that it was TOO SAD. According to Sophie, it's like nothing's ever gone right for that guy. Made me laugh to hear her sum up Social D's ouvre so well after just one song.
I gave my 1.5 yr old an mp3 player with a tiny speaker in it.
She was so happy.
Don't stop believing is somewhere on it.
When it's playing a song she doesn't like she tosses the thing to the floor.
