srsly though, my betrothed's band is playing Saturday afternoon, so I'm leaving my Art Cave, braving the cursed Sun, and possibly staying for headliners Rush. so if you're there, look for an angry lookin fella leaning on a cane, it might be me! i should rock my EVERYONE NEEDS A HUG button to be more recognizable.

We might have a couple other things going on Saturday; R has a potential meeting with a friend in Chi (I'm not going to that). So if he's out of town or our other plans don't work out, I may go to Summerfest. I also just fell down a flight of stairs yesterday (bruised, nothing broken) so it will depend on how I feel. Sorry to be so noncommittal! Can you tell me when/what stage your fiancee's band is playing? If you don't want to say it here, my email's in my profile.

We went last weekend. I have to say that the Sky Glider did wonders for my experience, what with the "not having to walk from one got-danged end of the part to the other" along with the "not having to trip over, or be tripped over by, drunk people."

The BF and I are going tomorrow night to see O.A.R. and, although I'm feeling meh about the band, I'm excited to report that we have a hotel this year so I don't have to be DD. The only thing I hate more than being in a crowd of drunk people spilling beer is being the only sober person in said crowd. We're staying at the Iron Horse, which is an awesome hotel.

The Iron Horse looks awesome. We went over to the museum the other night for dinner, but the restaurant was closed for a private party. (We ended up at Milwaukee Ale House.) Have fun tonight! Look south and wave - we're in Bay View.
