Wow! What an ending! What drama!

What on earth are you talking about? We scored in the 22nd minute.

As usual, I can't watch since the games are on so early in the morning but I was following the play-by-play on the Fifa website.

That. Was. AWESOME.

I missed the second half of the matches (I had pilates, I won't miss it). I knew my husband was watching and would give me a play by play.

We watch religiously in our home. We talk about little else.

And here I've been sitting on my butt at work, missing all the excitement. But not for long!

At the beginning of all the WC hype, I was telling my rabid fan of a brother that I wanted to be into it, but I just found the games really dull to watch. It was like watching a (US) football game that was nothing but 4th downs, with all punting and no field goals. But I've watched a little more and have learned that the excitement in the game is found in the spaces in between the goals, and I've come to appreciate it more.

And then I watched that game this morning, and holy vuvuzela, that was exciting. What a nail-biter.

The hardest part was to not scream YEAAAAAAAAAH in my cubicle when they scored...

What an ending, USA! I was screaming my head off! Love it. Also, thanks for showing up, England. Great to see you here. ;0)
