weird, my cats will voluntarily lay on plastic bags, so it's not some universal aversion.

Now I'm sad that I only have a photograph of my cats first meeting with inches of snow. I look at the photo and laugh for ten minutes, everyone else who see it don't get it, because they can't call up the memory of hilarity that was kitty shaking paws wildly hopping backwards like a frog.
