Bernie Madoff, Free at Last In prison he doesn’t have to hide his lack of conscience. In fact, he’s a hero for it.

Arrogant guy remains arrogant. Not surprising, but still a little shocking- I like that he tried to get a job managing a budget, lol.

I can see this as a survival strategy also. Humility and contrition likely do not play well in the general prison population.

Interesting theory ..... sounds very plausible to me. I can't imagine how any introvert manages to survive incarceration.
