FiveThirtyEight to Partner with New York Times Announced earlier today. I like Nate Silver's analysis - seems like this is a great fit. Also, one more chip in the 'blogs are journalism" pile. Launching in August.

Ok, I am still getting over the whole "working for The Times" thing, but I'm going to go ahead and say I found out about this first by seeing some documents that had been left in the printer on top of something I was working on.

Not to condescend, more like, "holy crap, I'm really here" moment.
