The last thing I ate was __________ A cheese quesadilla with an Indian mixed vegetable pickle. A strange combination, but one I'm kind of addicted to.

Leftovers from last night's fondue party (steamed broccoli and carrots, chicken+proscuitto tortellini) with some of the leftover cheese melted on top and some sugar cookie bars. Om nom nom.

... whole wheat penne & broccoli tossed with a big spoonful of the herb sauce I make by the jarful: parsley, olive oil, capers, and lemon zest & juice buzzed in the blender. Mmmmm, I finished the last bite just before I typed this.

Oh my - where do I start. Mediterranean meatballs (made by Specklet), couscous (ditto), roast peppers and courgettes and a Greek salad (all made by me) followed by cinnamon raisin cake (bought from organic farm store), roast pineapple and caramel sauce (made by me) and cream.

TheDonF, Specklet and I (and my friend Helene) then collapsed, like a quartet of Jabba the Hutts, onto the sofa to watch Eurovision. Russia, you were robbed!

tempura vegetables, rice, edamame, avocado rolls, those little meat dumplingy things that I don't know the name of, miso soup, fried tofu (i.e. a bento box of stuffs). Beer. Then mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Was the baby's introduction to Japanese food. She approved. Especially the tofu. The nice people at the restaurant brought more out for her.
