I do say. Not to slight the whole genre, but this particular depiction of erotology is rather lacking in internal logical rigour.

Indeed, but at least be consistent with characterization? I mean, if this lady is just 'discovering' her, uh, assertive side, why is she a sudden rope-tying expert? ... wait, isn't this borderline nonconsensual--hell what is she doing to--AAAAAH *covers eyes*
