Ugh - that's really pretty awful.

It feels like the Dark Ages sometimes. I just wrote a long comment about a scarily hate-filled screed I heard (delivered in calm tones) on Christian radio yesterday - but it stressed me out so much to even have to type it out, for those words to take another breath, that I am not going to bother repeating it.

There's still a long way to go.

I sometimes feel that we are moving backwards more than forwards. Superstition and Socratic weakness rather then Scientific method and Aristotelian strength.

I worry about that too, arse_hat. People seem to be getting stupider, not smarter.
