This song is like a stick of dynamite rolled in powdered sugar: "Cold War," by Janelle Monáe. →[More:] She is THE It Girl down here in Atlanta right now (where she lives, though I think she's from Kansas originally). Her new album is very strange, but growing on me more with each listen.

I really like her too. I heard about her from David Mills' blog. I swear, any cool new acts I'm ever on top of - I heard of from him. Among the many reasons I'm sorry he's gone.
