Previously on Ardiril's Health Drama, I had a heart procedure using some new technology. With my permission, the hospital filmed the operation, and today we did the follow-up interviews, reaction shots and other video inserts. →[More:]

I think my fly was unzipped the entire time.

The show is called Healthcare Heroes and is syndicated nationally. My episode should air sometime in July. Although the show's editor will probably never get an Emmy nomination, I think you may find it interesting.

danf: The recovery took longer than my cardiologist thought, but the time was fairly close to what I figured. Right now, I feel quite good overall (except today itself was a bad day) but I am not back to where I was three months ago. To achieve that, I am going to have to dig deep for some major motivation and walk at least two hours every day.

The good news is I made my doctor's cholesterol goal of 70 in record time, so he has allowed me to eat chicken and pork or beef each once a week.

The best news is if I stick to my current eating habits, I should reach 70 and retain my mobility, but damn, I really do want a scooter.
