Other teams did this ... last year, for "Noche Latina" -- The Bulls will don special "Los Bulls" uniforms Thursday against the Miami Heat to honor the team's Hispanic fan base on "Latin Night" at the United Center -- March 25, 2009

Still, I support the sentiment.

Actually, I ain't got nothing against the Spurs, but I do like the idea for the suns, but they should do it RIGHT. LOS SOLES, not Los Suns. A for attitude, B for presentation, C for effort.

It was just the Suns that didn't go all the way with the translation. The Spurs, Bulls, Rockets, Heat and Mavs did the same thing back in 2009 (as shown in flt's link). Sounds like the league put the kibosh on the full translations. :/

Deberia ser "Los soles"

There's a Mexican basketball team in Mexicali that are called Los Soles. Nuevo Laredo has Los Toros. I think those are the teams with the same names in the NLBP and NBA.
