The video for Devendra Banhart's new single, "Foolin'" He's a quirky fella, but I really didn't see that coming.

Eek.
I like him a lot, but I couldn't watch when they broke out the knife and the finger.
The song is great and I love his other videos but I am wayyyy too squeamish for this one.

He does look really different without all the facial and head hair.

Loved the concept and many aspects of the video, and I admire him for having the guts to go there, but the finger thing pushed it way too far into the realm of ridiculous BDSM cliches, IMO.

He looks really damn sexy without all that hair, BTW.

I like the implied longevity of the relationship. And I could probably look at a still photo of their limbs tangled in bed like all day.
