08 April 2010

this is a spa thread - step inside for relaxation, whuffles and a pedicure [More:]

I'm opening a MetaChat bunnyspa. Right here. Anything goes: fish pedicures, hot stones, tea therapy, you name it.

Also: help me make my spa a success by suggesting the treatments you find most relaxing / soothing / stress relieving. I even built a big soundproof studio in back for the odd drum circle / guitar jam / primal scream therapy session.

also: it's completely free, anybunny is welcome to join and we have unlimited whuffles as a new member perc.

Step inside, and let your stress wash away in the calm, bubbly oriental fountain by the entrance.

*whuffle*
Oh god, my nails. Seriously, go to town. Typing and drawing have made them into thick brittle nubs.

Neck Massage! I seriously carry all my tension right in the vertebra at the base of my neck, and it radiates from there.

oooh I'd love a scalp massage.

NO CHILDREN ALLOWED!

Whelk - if the Doctor Fish in the fountain don't squick you out, you should let them nibble on your hands for a bit. They're totally gentle and way better than anyone at getting all the dead skin off.

*gently rubs Whelk's hands with lavender-scented walnut oil, uses tiniest pair of cuticle scissors*

muddgirl: I had one of those yesterday. It was OMG AWESOME!! What's your go-to massage oil scent? I have this piney-sagey-lemony one that I absolutely adore.

*heats up steam towels*

Kangaroo: drop 'em off at the attached daycare next door!

'pode: want a fabulous shampoo, deep conditioning and style with that?

lfr: Do I what. And my kidling can play with Kangaroo's.

My face hurts. Goddamn pressure changes and weather that can't decide what it wants to be.

*brews tea*

here Madamina, lie back on the lounge with a hot menthol-infused towel for a bit while I get the tea sorted. Some green tea, a gentle neck and face massage, finished up with a neti rinse will clear the sinus angst right up.

AND don't forget to take a nice long soak in the sparkling chlorine-free waterfall hot tub!

Sign me up for everything twice! I need a lot of work done.

Wine. There needs to be chilled white wine please.

Kangaroo: try the wine cellar, it's down the hall from the library.

Oh yes!
*flops down on table*
Give me the works, baby!

Ooh. All of my moving parts crave a major working over. Preferably with some of that piney-sagey-lemony oil, whatever it is. It sounds perfect.

LET THE FISH FEAST ON MY DEAD FLESH.

*warms up more massage oil*

Go for it Whelk! Sit yourself down beside (or even IN, as you're inclined) the fountain, you will enjoy all the tiny nibbly sensations. Tickles at first but your fingers and toesies will come out all smooth and pink and gorgeous :)

Don't forget there's a fully stocked gourmet dining area on the opposite side of the hall from the library / reading room / cat nook! You can choose to prep your own, or have our master chef / barkeeping staff concoct whatever delights your soul!

Just put the Mimosa straw in my mouth.

I have no idea what my hair is all about.

oooh I'd love a scalp massage.

I cut my own hair and reading that made me want a scalp massage so hard I'm considering making an appointment for a haircut. Holy crap, I want one. NOW.
