Goldfrapp. Head First. New Release. That Is All. [More:]

Rocket

It should be noted that the album version of Rocket has rocket noises at the start (unlike the video), and is therefore unimpeachable.

It should also be noted that this entire release has enough movie montage piano and synth boogie to make you believe Michael J. Fox never got shaky and every child since Dakota Fanning got hatched has grown up with a fighter jet pilot for a daddy.

Are they usually this poppy sounding? The only Goldfrapp song I'm familiar with is "Lovely Head", which I had on a mix years ago and is much more atmospheric and mopey. (I'm a big fan of the mopey.)

Atom - NO! This is totally premeditated retro pop from the get go. Alison Goldfrapp likes to majorly switch up each release so that her whole catalog sounds different CD to CD. If you likey the mope, stay with her earlier stuff, like Black Cherry and the one after.

I think Dreaming is my favorite so far from this one.

I'm in love with [a] "Strict Machine", but I haven't been much beyond "like" with anything else. Something about that one.
