That's a gorgeous dog. Does he shed a lot; do you wear all black so it doesn't show?

Shedding? Well, right now his puppy coat's coming out and he's getting a nice shiny new one, but that's mostly picked up by the brush and I haven't seen much black fluff around the house. If he grows up to be a normal healthy boy he'll shed profusely for a couple weeks once or twice a year, and then hardly any at all the rest of the time. As for wearing black - I do tend to do that, but my other dog is a siberian with hairs that are black at one tip and white at the other, so...

Thanks for nice words, everyone! He's still a growing boy - he will most likely be adding another 4 or 5 inches at the shoulder and another 50% to his weight before he's finished.
