I feel your pain right now. My good --> bad situation wasn't really my fault, but I probably could've handled it better and stopped it from getting so bad. Raaaaaaaaaaaargh.

smoldering is when you're not really angsty in a parched despondent way, or depressed in an epic-sadness way, but ... somewhere between the two with a twist of frustration and irritation. Wanting to scream but not really? That is my story and I am sticking to it.
