AT&T sucks the big one [More:] I am consistently hung up on when I call AT&T customer service. It has happened to me at least four separate times - probably more that I'm not remembering.

This is a freaking phone company. Am I meant to believe that this is an accident?! How do these bastards get away with being so horrible to their customers?! Will there ever be meaningful regulation of these jerks?

In conclusion, capitalism can suck it.
Didn't you ever see the SNL skit with Lily Tomlin, "We Don't Care. We're the Phone Company."?

Yeah... it's bizarre that AT&T hasn't made a bigger push to establish itself as being better than Verzion as far as customer service is concerned. (Based on my years with Verizon before I switched to T-Mo, I assure you they wouldn't need to do much.) Don't get me started on the Luke Wilson commercials.

Conventional wisdom has Verizon getting the Nexus One this spring and the iPhone sometime thereafter (not confirmed) and I can't imagine this has too many AT&T folks psyched for 2011 and beyond.
