Ask MeCha. . . Yesterday I went, for the first time in years, to a chiropractor.

My lower back just keeps not getting better, and a massage did not help much, so I chose the next larger bullet.
He did the rubber hammer test of my reflexes, and then pressed hard on the top of my head and asked if it hurt anywhere.
My legs and ankles jumped for the hammer, and nothing hurt when he pressed on my head. This lead him to conclude that I have no disk problems.
This seems borderline bogus to me, but I am not sure. Has anyone been tested like that for back probs?
