I know cortex disapproves. But I do take pride in my favorites count. I'm sorry.

Yeah, I get no love. I've been a member for nigh upon five years, and have a comments to favorites ratio that is shameful. Oh well. That's what I get for mostly lurking!

Yay-me is in Dutch an expletive. It's an abbreviation of the exclamation Jezus mina. Nobody knows what the 'mina' part means btw.

I just blew by 500 on my fave count. But I have belonged since 2001 so I can't really brag much.

They are nice to get but I don't lose a lot of sleep over it. Just a little.

Joe, I didn't like you when you first showed up at Mefi, but I've since changed my mind. Several of those favourites are from me. :-)

I've been a member since 2002 and have less than 200 favourites. I think it's because I'm usually late to a thread because, dammit, I am funny!

Aw, it's more complicated than that. I'm totally neutral on favorites-qua-favorites in general. Round numbers make people happy, I can appreciate that, and it's fun to watch the odometer roll over. Just don't quote them at me in an argument, etc.
