"A show that is so wretched, it lives up to its name: it is truly something to behold, a marvel, a wonder. It is hateful and awful, a level of terrible rarely seen for 30 straight minutes, let alone for four seasons."
Rich at fourfour's hilarious, epic takedown of the sitcom Small Wonder.
Small Wonder was a symptom of the easy availability and low cost of cocaine in 1980s L.A

A satire of Small Wonder? I love it when we go out on a limb.

When we observe the level of TV comedy writing, Mrs. B. and I like to ask each other, "Why aren't we rich?"

Welcome to fourfour. The peak of animated gifs may be ANTM recaps.

Odd, I haven't thought of that show in years but thought of it last week watching Caprica's robot daughter.

God, I heart fourfour. I saw this the other night while getting my Winston fix and was disturbed, but never really saw the show when it was on. Or possibly I have suppressed all memories; entirely possible but hard to tell.

Funny thing Is when I saw this link, the first thing I thought of was Caprica. I can only hope Eric Stoltz doesn't start saying "but honey, she's just a robot!" to Trixie from Deadwood in every episode.

Even with a mandatory preview, I fail to close the blockquote tag.

I recently was watching a TV show and thought to myself, "This is so terrible. I could do better than this." Then I thought... "So why don't I?"

He beat up on the show quite well but I was just waiting for him to mention Vicki's wardrobe. Because when you're trying to pass a robot off as a real child, the best thing to do is to put her in the exact same stupid kewpie doll dress day in, day out.
