My other half showed this to me yesterday, and when she looked down at her palm it was so obvious I just cracked up in embarrassment. Can you believe she's made it as far as she has with goofs like that? I mean, I'm almost in admiration at her fake-it-to-make-it by now, even though I don't agree with her at all. She appears supremely unruffled by her obvious lapses.
Is the rest of the Republican Party (not the FoxNews drones) really buying her bullshit, or are they paying her lipservice and using her for cover as they figure out an alternative strategy?
Serious, intelligent Republicans can't stand her. One of the interesting things about canvassing last fall was encountering Republican voters - lifelong ones - who expressed real anger and alienation and insult over being presented with her as a viable candidate. She's one of the reasons the party is cleaving like well-seasoned firewood right now.
