No, it says cat owners are more likely to hold degrees than dog owners; nothing about how smart anyone is.

I dunno, dogs seem to have this great scam going where they get humans to utterly rearrange their schedules to accommodate the dogs and all aspects of canine digestion.

Hrm, I think the headline actually says that cat owners are more likely to possess degrees than they are to posses dog-lovers. That makes sense to me.
