American Experience: Nixon. I hadn't intended to watch it, but it's been fascinating. Sometimes I wonder what has kept contemporary America from such violent protest. Did we really as a culture really pass that point for good? Are we done with political assassination?

Has anyone written a good book about what would have happened if Humphrey had been elected?

It's such a shame, how little education in American history I have.
