Just saw After Last Season There's absolutely no way in hell this movie was made by an incompetent writer/director/etc.[More:] My money is on a rather-accomplished director (I'm looking at you Richard Linklater, as a prime suspect) who created a persona who had the freedom to make a movie that deliberately stumbled over every rule of film making, but somehow still managed to create a compelling experience.

If you're willing to forgive the art-house pretentious of whatever conceit/hoax this thing is, it's SO worth seeing.
Huh. I saw the trailer a while ago and just assumed... wait, are you another aspect of the hoax?

You want to see it, even though you think you don't. Soon, curiosity will get the better of you . . . and then you too will be a part of it. BWHAHAHAHAHAHA!

My not-Netflix queue has 250 National Film Registry entries on it. I should bump this because?

I could offer up a platitude like "it's a novel experience and you might learn something along the way -- at the very least it'll give you a few good laughs and something to puzzle over," but that's not really it. The real reason is that this film . . . *cue dramatic chipmunk music* . . . WANTS TO SEE YOU.

Oh, and because, for all its failing and incompetence, it's still better than Avatar.

*ducks*
