Dream journal I have to keep a health journal and it's become boring. So I'm starting to keep a dream journal with it. [More:]I hardly remember my dreams, but now I'm beginning to wake up with bits and pieces. I once did this over thirty years ago and after some practice, I could remember most of what went on in the dream world.

and I forgot to do the read more thingy....

Dream journals are great. The more you work at it the more you remember. I wrote down my dreams for years. They wouldn't mean much to anyone else, but to me they were very meaningful. I keep meaning to start writing them down again...

I probably should start one given that I have 3-4 vivid dreams each night. And some are totally fucking bizarre.

Here's one from last night: In my dream, I got home after a really long day (which was true of yesterday) to find a bunch of black cars parked out front. I walked in to be greeted by an unusually pleasant secret service dude informing me that they needed my place for something important (they couldn't tell me what) but I could hang around and go about my business. ummk.
They also decorated every room in my house with presidential colors and swapped out all the furniture. what?

I just decide to go get a drink of water and W is sitting in my kitchen reading the times. I yell out loud. Then someone informs me that there will be mostly ex-presidents (and vps) and this meeting. ok, time to leave. I walk towards my room to grab my laptop and head out to a coffeeshop and guess who...right Cheney is using my bedroom as a conf. room (and they fit a conf table in there). They wouldn't let me in.

whatever. It's about 930 PM now and I decide to just go for a walk. It's bright and sunny out. Apparently the secret service draped a back lit fake sky over the entire city for some bizarre reason. At this point I stopped asking questions and just walked into a Cambodian restaurant.

PS: I was not on anything.

It does feel like our home is controlled by other sisnister forces. Maybe Cambodia is the place to move to now.

I had a dream diary years ago; just recently started another one. A couple of nights ago it featured a church I pass every day to and from work. A simple church, possibly it's been there for over 100 years. In my dream, just the front was there..the entire rest of the church was gone - torn away. I can't imagine what that was supposed to symbolize..

I used to keep a dream journal, but then I had a run of incredibly terrifying nightmares (really vivid ones like where someone was hacking me to pieces and I could *feel* it) and stopped. Now I hardly ever remember my dreams.

(I MI'd you, wb)
