:) Thanks for the post, BoPo! I'm very excited. It's working with a judicial evaluation project through which judicial candidates and judges seeking retention will be evaluated using a professional, research-based protocol that will be supervised by a non-partisan and diverse Commission comprised of a majority of non-lawyers. I'm one of the lawyers on the project, which hopefully will lead to legislative proposals.
There is nothing about this opportunity that is not exciting to me. Policy work, calm quiet work environment, flexible schedule (including work from home!), an easy bike route to work (I'm inspired by MsKaz!), an organizational mission I can believe it, something to brag about at the 10 year law school reunion this spring. I am so excited!
Wow! I'm jealous--not just of the job (which sounds really cool), but also at the thought of a judicial evaluation system other than the next election cycle. Good work.
