Let me be the first to say, thank you for the warm welcome. I would like to use this opportunity to confess something: I have two bunnies. I got them for my daughter for her birthday (I know, dumbest idea ever) from the pound (OK, I guess I'm not a total jerk) but after they completely destroyed my vegetable garden and then proceeded to attempt to eat the porch (of my rented flat), I have kept them confined to a hutch, which, as someone who in my past used to distribute PETA literature (I know, I know), is quite embarrassing. Therefore I would like to use this platform to solicit your ideas for an easy-to-make bunny-friendlier enclosure. I have rudimentary carpentry skills and a basic set of tools and I'd like to include my kid in building something. Suggestions anyone?

Monkeytoes - Look at the top black bar on the page - you must have "images off", right? If you just embed the picture in-line using the "image" button at the bottom of the commenting box, the "click on image" format is done automagically for people who have "images off". People who have "images on" will just see the image.

serazin - I have no bunny-friendly enclosure ideas (our only bunny was free-range indoor) but you are welcome to post the question as a standalone post. I'm sure some folks would rise to that DIY challenge!

I'm fine with plenty of pictures of adorable bunnies. Frankly, that's a large part of metachat's appeal. Who doesn't love bunnies???? Lame people, that's who.

I'm only a little bit interesting, but I have an awesome tuxedo cat names James Bond, and he's hilarious.
