I came of age in So Cal, so of course my first intro to the McGarrigles was Heart Like A Wheel by Linda Ronstadt. I always wonder whether bursting onto a larger audience, like that, is a good or bad thing, in the long run.
The McGarrigles will be no more. My music collection just got a little more melancholy. My bookshelves are also sighing upon hearing that Robert B. Parker has passed away.
I, too, was introduced to the McGarrigles through Heart Like a Wheel as sung by Linda Ronstadt.
Fan of both. Farewell. Thank you for the music and the books.
