Help me settle an argument with my seven year old: What is the back of your face?

If my face were a mask, it would be the inside of the mask. You have a 7 year old who believes what it says on the internet?

Obscure Reference is siding with the 7 year old! I prefer to think it's the back of the head (as I'd rather not imagine the "inside of the mask" part of my face).

I'm also siding with the 7 year old. The back of your head is the back of your head. Your face is a distinct thing on your head and therefore, has a separate back.

The back of the face is the other side of the outward facial skin. When they do face transplants, they don't use the whole head, right?

(Actually, I DID give her a couple cookies with breakfast this morning because what the hell, I CAN! [and it was a weekend, and they were the world's hippiest whole-wheat, coconut-raisin, oatmeal cookies])

The front of the face is the facial epidermis. The back of the face is the facial hypodermis, the base layer of the skin.
