More spoilers. Did anyone watch Big Love last night? [More:]

Okay, so I don't know if there are actually any spoilers, but I thought I'd be safe.

Poor old Harry Dean Stanton, making the rounds in his lawn chair!

And what kind of creepiness are they setting up with Ben? In the scenes from previous seasons, they showed him admitting that he had a thing for Margie. Then they set him up as super righteous with the christian rock band and sitting as one of the priesthood people in the Church of Henrickson. But then Barb glances over and gives a worried look as he's chaperoning Nikki's daughter. My prediction is that he'll be married with two wives by the end of the season. (I also noticed that he's not in the main opening credits, but Sarah is.)

And speaking of the season, it's only nine episodes long. That sucks! That's just, like, two months!
I thought she was giving a worried look at first too, but then I thought later that she was just getting inspired to let his band play when Kenny Rogers didn't show. At any rate, I don't think he's going to end up being so pious... I suspect the band is just a way for him to meet chicks.

I hope there is more with Amanda Seyfried (is that Sarah?) this season, I really like her character.

Oh, what did you think of the new opening credits. I thought they were terrible.

Oh, the credits, yes! I thought they were awful too. It was too similar to (but much worse than) the credits for Mad Men, and it also was very similar to (but couldn't possibly have been worse than) the very last scene of the L-Word (which I am a little ashamed to admit to having watched).

Amanda Seyfried -- Sarah -- is part of the main credits now, and she wasn't previously, so I'm assuming that she'll be around.

Do you want to know if Seyfried is staying? Because I can tell you.

I about bust a gut laughing when Adaleen shrieked "I didn't know how to tell you." It could inspire a line of Hallmark Cards, 'I didn't know how to tell you so I sent you into a creepy basement freezer with a flashlight instead.'

I remember Ben talking about wanting to follow Dad's polygamist footsteps, maybe back in Season 1 or 2. The show spent some of Season 3 exploring how her family life has affected Sarah so yeah, it's time to explore Ben.

Teeny remains absent while she's in the awkward tween years.

Didn't like the new credits either.

I keep thinking JJ is played by John Malkovich and being surprised when Zeljko Ivanek turns up in the credits.

Next time Daughter is down, we'll rent and watch the prev. season.
