What's for dinner? [More:]Me: Egg-white omelette with mushrooms, cheese, and bell peppers plus avocado on toast

You?
Oof, damn, everything after "what's for dinner?" was supposed to be inside. Mods, help, please? :(

That sounds very healthy, unsurprising. My dinner was some very unhealthy sesame beef from the local Chinese take-out. Now I am debating whether to eat cake or popcorn whilst watching the last disk of BSG 2.5.

A melancholic peanut butter sandwich and a sobering bowl of corn flakes.

I had chicken ramen with some cinnamon carrots. Not the healthiest thing in the world, but tasty!

True Confession: Suppertime came upon us suddenly, finding us exhausted after a long day, and wandering the aisles of the only supermarket open past 9 PM. We had a lovely organic-type pizza picked out, but an imp seized me, and we ended up having...pigs in blankets. With Hebrew National dogs and crescent roll dough.

This recipe doubled and doctored up. Cesar salad. This apple crisp and vanilla ice cream for desert. It was delicious.

Big lunch led to a dinner of chips and salsa; which I do consider the 5th food group. Not a big soda drinker, but I did all but finish off a 2 litre of Coke.
Sugary goodness prevails!

spontaneous meetup with friends (and wrangling of 3 babies) led to delicious escarole for dinner, and we were supposed to have pizza afterwards, but the evening devolved into whisky and wine.

A great evening.

Dinner was a sudden decision occurring after a miscommunication: I thought The Fella was bringing home take out, he thought I was excited to test out a new recipe. Oops.

Since the fridge was nearly cleaned out, I threw together a few things quickly from the pantry and vegetable bin: eggs in black beans, roasted vegetables, and beer bread. It was great.

And tomorrow we'll have the takeout. YAY!

I had a really fun dinner! A bunch of friends got together and ordered a giant amount of food from a really good Thai place in Queens and two of them went to pick it up and bring it back to one house for a big thai feast. I got green papaya salad and drunken noodles with tofu, which were great and very spicy.
I also tried some fried watercress which was new to me and kind of interesting but mostly I just tasted "fry"
There was also a lot of beer.
