Logos for new LT Business Cards? →[More:]

Hey all - I have now gotten to the penultimate phase of Societal Pillar, i.e. people keep asking me for my card when I play out/DJ/take meetings for projects/build networks. (The Ultimate being the ownership and maintenance of an actual BlackBerry device.)

Problem is, I dinnae haz.

So, this thread is for you to submit your idea of a graphic that would look best on a business card if the business were, uh, me.

I think you really just need a decent looking, professional card with your name and contact info. Designing your own logo is kinda Level 2. VistaPrint has cards that are free and not too bad.

I google image searched "hot mess" to find you a potential logo. I regret it.

Please don't try it with safe search off.

Yeah, this comes up on MF every now and again. You should get cards made and spend some time sort of mulling over a logo. I have some Moo cards that are totally fine for handing out and sort of decent looking [and small] besides. I suggest starting with those and thinking about a logo when you're more in the "branding" phase of whatever you're doing.

As jessamyn says Moo cards are a pretty good interim card to have while you decide on your branding.

I join the chorus of MOOOOoooo. I like my ready-made Moo cards, which are apparently quite memorable, nice-looking, and fairly customizable. I had a friend design me a logo once and he did a nice job. I bought him dinner, used it for a few years, and moved on.

Yeah, I've done mockups on both vista and moo and I like moo because you can get different backs for them even though they're more expensive than vistaprint.

Get Google voice to help coordinate voicemail. Logos are over-rated. Use cool, beautiful and/or interesting fonts. If you find a picture that really expresses you and your business, use moo cards. I did a sample, but don't have my groovy fonts at this pc, so I'll post something later.
